Volkerkarte von Russland.

This cropped portion of the  Völkerkarte von Russland is interesting because it is one of the earlier maps to recognize the Talysh zone as an ethnographic zone in southeastern Azerbaijan. Earlier maps of the Caucasus generally denoted a Talysh zone in recognition of the Talysh Khanate, but did not take special note of the ethnographic qualities of the Talysh people.
