Title
Exploring Public Transit as a Case Study for Language Policy in Boston
Description
I report on research to investigate the availability of information and services in languages other than English at six M.B.T.A. subway stations, and frame these results with data regarding language usage in Boston. I then analyze the problem (almost complete lack of available services in foreign languages) and finish with policy recommendations for the M.B.T.A.
